Common questions
How do I start a round?
Tap the green + at the bottom of the app, pick the course and tees, invite your group, choose the game and the stakes, and tee off.
Does everyone need the app?
Yes. Everyone in a round plays on their own phone. Send them the invite link from the round.
How do handicaps work?
Add your Handicap Index on your profile (Profile → Edit Profile). bagboy works out course handicaps and strokes for every game.
Who keeps score?
One person in each group keeps the card — everyone else follows it live. In tournaments, each group has its own scorekeeper.
How does settling up work?
When the round is final, bagboy shows who owes who and opens Venmo with the amount filled in. bagboy never holds or sends money. Tap Settle in the ledger when someone pays you back another way.
I'm not getting notifications.
Check Settings → Notifications → bagboy on your iPhone and make sure notifications are on.
How do I report someone or something?
Tap ••• on the post, comment or profile and choose Report or Block. See the Community Guidelines.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Or use our account deletion page.
